Welcome to my site! This space is continuously updated with information about me, my work, and my studies. I am a husband, father, and teacher. I take all three seriously and consistently look for ways to improve and how I can be better at each. I am a lifelong learner and live by the philosophy that, "I don't know everything, therefor I am always learning."
Elementary School
Elementary education is not what it once was. It's a tough job and I have nothing but respect for my fellow teachers. The school where I teach has, without question, the finest faculty in the state. They are community focused and go above and beyond the call to teach. The outreach to families of our students is the model of philanthropy.
Upgraders
If you are an experienced Joomla! 1.5 user, this Joomla! site will seem very familiar. There are new templates and improved user interfaces, but most functionality is the same. The biggest changes are improved access control (ACL) and nested categories. This release of Joomla! has strong continuity with Joomla! 1.6 while adding enhancements.
Beyond the Walls
Beyond the walls of the classroom there are challenges to extend learning. Life for students has become a whirlwind of activities; sports, dance, music lessons, and karate have replaced traditional homework.
